Burn's Surgeries!

Organized by Aussie Rescue Midwest

Oh No!
After some grooming and digging around in Burn's fur, it's been discovered that he has had an embedded collar at some point in his life. As if Burns hasn't already been through enough? What else has this boy experienced that we dont know about?

Thank you Rhonda for giving him a soft bed and a warm place to sleep until he recovers fully. This poor ole man deserves nothing but the best from now on.

The Real Mr. Burns!
This sweet blue merle boy is Burns.
He's a senior Aussie who has spent his life in a puppy mill cage. He's got painful cataracts in one eye which has left him blind. His teeth and gums are nearly destroyed from trying to chew is way to freedom. His feet and toes are hard and deformed from walking on cage bars for the last decade. Burns didn't do anything to deserve the life that he's lead. Nor did any of the puppy mill dogs who are suffering as I type this! But Burns finally made it to safety. All it took was for his 'owner' to decide to dump him after Burns was too old to produce puppies anymore. Being dumped was Burn's savior, because New Spirit Aussie Rescue snapped him up and immediately put him into a warm, safe foster home where he will never have to see cage bars again.
But Burn's journey is far from over. His previous life has left him damaged. His eye will need a $1000 surgery, his teeth and gums need to be fixed so he can eat without flinching, and his recovery care will be expensive as well. We're hoping that by asking for your help, we can cover Burn's upcoming medical expenses.
Burns will appreciate it very very much!
